Quick and Flavorful Weeknight Beef Stir Fry with Cabbage and Sriracha Mayo

Course Appetizer

Ingredients
  

  • ● 600 g lean ground beef
  • ● 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ● 1 small red onion
  • ● ½ cabbage slices thinly
  • ● 6 cloves garlic
  • ● 1 tsp onion powder
  • ● 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ● 1 tsp paprika
  • ● 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ● 1 tsp sea salt
  • ● ½ tsp pepper
  • ● 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • ● ½ tbsp dark soy sauce
  • ● 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup

Garnish:

  • ● 1 fried egg
  • ● green onion
  • ● Sriracha mayo ½ cup mayo,2 tbsp sriracha

Instructions
 

  • Finely dice your onions and garlic. Slice the cabbage.
  • Into a hot frying pan add oil then your chopped onions until caramelised, add in the garlic. Stir for 30 seconds, add in the cabbage, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Make room in the middle of the pan, add in the ground beef, and break it apart with your spatula.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes or until 90% cooked. Add in all the spices, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and honey. Continue cooking another 2-3 minutes while stirring to combine.
  • Mix mayo and sriracha to make sriracha mayo
  • ½ cup mayo,2 tbsp sriracha
  • Top with sriracha mayo, green onions, and a fried egg.

Serve with veggies or an avocado
