Smash Burger Tacos

Smash Burger Tacos Recipe

    Ingredients:

    • 5 Low carb tacos
    • 500 gram ground beef
    • 1 onion diced
    • Salt and pepper
    • 5 slices of cheddar cheese
    • Fresh greens Use any green you like, I used mixed green.

    For the sauce:

    • 2 tbsp low-fat mayo
    • 1 tbsp mustard
    • 1 tbsp ketchup
    • 2 large pickles diced into small pieces
    • 1 tsp paprika

    Instructions
     

    Directions:

    • Smash a ball of ground beef on top of the taco and press it down until it's evenly divided onto the taco, sprinkle some diced onion, salt, and pepper over the meat.
    • Cook the taco with the meat facing down in a heated skillet with some olive oil for about 5 minutes, then turn the taco around and cook the taco very short, approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Place a slice of cheddar cheese over the meat and let it melt while cooking the taco. You can cover it for a faster result.
    • Mix the sauce by combining the mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, and paprika in a small bowl and mixing until thoroughly combined.
    • Remove from the heat and garnish with some leaves of the greens and a scoop of the sauce.
