INGREDIENTS

Chicken For this delectable chicken recipe choose boneless skinless, chicken breast and cut them into cubes. Try to slice the chicken evenly so that it cooks evenly.

Lemon Zest and Lemon Juice To make the delicious lemon pepper flavor you will need both the zest and juice of a fresh lemon which is perfect because zesting loosens up the juice inside the fruit so when you squeeze it you will get even more citrusy juice!

Pepper You will need plenty of pepper to build the tasty lemon pepper savor needed for this chicken. Choose freshly cracked or ground black pepper to use in both the marinade and the lemon pepper glaze.

Salt Kosher or sea salt helps to highlight the complex spiced flavors of citrus pepper, and chicken in this delicious cook.

Paprika Paprika adds a little color and peppery punch to both the marinade and chicken glaze. Either smoked or sweet paprika will work but the smoky notes in smoked paprika are very nice in this Lemon Pepper Chicken Kabab recipe.

Garlic Powder Garlic powder makes everything taste better! A little of this in the marinade helps to round out the zippy flavor!

Dried Parsley Dried parsley brings everything together with a welcome herbal and leafy flavor. You can substitute this ingredient with fresh chopped parsley but if using fresh be sure to use a bit extra to get the same herb flavor.

Olive Oil This helps to add a little fat to the chicken. You can trade olive oil for another light oil of your choosing. Avocado oil almond oil, and coconut oil are all great swaps.

Butter A touch of rich butter flavor adds a nice creaminess to this finished chicken.

Erythritol This powdered sweetener helps to balance all the zesty and salty flavors in this dish. You can substitute this ingredient with another powdered sugar-free sweetener if you prefer.
